X L. N. Price Family Cemetery

Located off County Road 218
about 2 miles west of Indian Gap,
in Hamiliton County, TX

On January 17, 1999 My husband Weldon Ivy and myself received permission to go to this family cemetery and record and take pictures of the headstones. Since then, I have also gone to the Comanche Public Library to find back ground material and found these graves listed in a book Titled, " Hamilton County, Texas Cemetery Records" by Mrs. Brent Witty. On Page 302 for "The Neely Price Family Cemetery" is a list of of the two Price graves and the two unmarked graves of the Price Infants and one unmarked grave of John Rogers but does not mention the Headstone for Treva Mitchell.

In another book at the Comanche Library, "Hamilton County, Texas Marriage Records, 1876-1891", Copyrighted in 1985 by Frances Ingmire, 929.I52H - has a listing for the Marriage of L. M. Price to M.M Philips on February 20, 1883. I do not know if M. M. Philips is Mary M. Price but have listed it here as a possibly being her maiden name.
